Open Access & Predatory Journals: Navigating Today’s Scholarly Publishing Landscape

Navigating today's scholarly publishing landscape can be challenging. It has become harder and harder to distinguish trustworthy open access journals from predatory journals. In this workshop, Mount Sinai Health System Libraries Chief Director Gali Halevi, PhD, MLS will train attendees on how to identity possible predatory journals and publishers, as well as the pros of cons of open access publishing. Plus, you'll learn tips & tricks on journal selection tools that can help get your work the attention it deserves and meet your publication goals.
