Best Practices in Using Visuals to Convey Your Research
In this class, learners will explore ways to effectively visually communicate their science. We will:
- Review the basics of laying out a slide or figure to maximize readability, both from an instructional design and a universal design perspective.
- Review common figure submission guidelines for journals, such as file format, RBG vs CMYK, etc.
There will be ample time allotted for questions and interactivity so please come ready to talk all things visual!
