Publish with Confidence: Understanding the Levy Library's Publishing Agreements and a Deep Dive into the Royal Society
Join us to learn about the Levy Library's publishing agreements, offering discounts and no-cost options to publish the work of Mount Sinai authors with a variety of publishers and journals.
We'll also take a deep dive into Royal Society's journals - a home for excellent scientific research for over 360 years. Providing a broad coverage of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, much of the research published by the Royal Society is cross-disciplinary, broad interest and high impact. For 2026, the Levy Library has partnered with Royal Society Publishing to allow authors to publish open access for free through the Royal Society, making research funds stretch even further and helping to increase the visibility of your work. This information session will discuss the journals and their metrics, what the submission process and author journey looks like, and our support for authors publishing in your discipline. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions.
About the speaker: Sophie Ferguson is the author engagement officer at Royal Society Publishing. After finishing her PhD at the University of St. Andrews School of Medicine in 2018, she moved into the academic publishing industry. She continues to have a passion for scientific enquiry and supporting the research community.
See the list of publishing agreements we have on our Discount or No-Cost Publishing Agreements for Mount Sinai Authors guide.
