Celebrating Mount Sinai Book Authors and Editors: A Moderated Panel Discussion

Authoring and editing books and book chapters is an incredibly valuable aspect of Mount Sinai’s scholarly activity.  Critical to our learners and creating shared understanding, these contributions are often not recognized through citations and other impact metrics.

The Levy Library’s Scholarly Publishing and Visualization Hub will celebrate these contributions at our first-ever Mount Sinai Authors and Editors Event. Join us for a moderated panel discussion featuring Mount Sinai authors in conversation with Mount Sinai students. Panelists will share how they got started, why they chose to write or edit scholarly books and chapters, and what it takes to move an idea from concept to publication.

The panel discussion and Q&A will be followed by time to network and for authors to sign their books included in the Library’s collection.
